A challenge of distance and height….

Last Sunday my Great Uncle John and Great Auntie Dee set about walking 26 Kilometres as part of the 2.6 challenge for Team DWAD.

They were lucky with mostly fine weather and finished the challenge within a week.

“During our walks we climbed just over 1600 feet (we do live on the highest hill in Wirral).
So we achieved 26 Kilometres and we also climbed 1600 feet which is about 2/3 of the height gained on an ascent up Snowdon.”

“1600 feet is approximately 0.26 of a Nautical Mile.”

Talk about an amazing achievement and ticking all the boxes for 2.6/26 too.

Thank you so much to my lovely family.
